SOLAR DEL 8 DE ABRIL 2024:
En 2024, México será testigo del fenómeno
astronómico del año. Minutos después del mediodía del lunes 8 de abril, la Luna
se interpondrá entre el Sol y la Tierra provocando un eclipse solar total, el
primero de su tipo en el país desde julio de 1991. Después del lunes, el
próximo eclipse solar total no ocurrirá sino hasta 2026. Pero se producirá en
el norte del planeta, siendo visible en Groenlandia, Islandia y España. El
siguiente, en 2027, pasará a través de España y el norte de África, con una
increíble duración de 6 minutos y medio.
El eclipse total de Sol del próximo lunes iniciará
a lo largo de la costa del Pacífico mexicano y pasará por Texas y otros 14
estados de Estados Unidos, antes de concluir su paso por el continente encima
de Canadá.
Será de casi el doble de duración y tendrá una
audiencia mucho más amplia que el eclipse total de Sol que atravesó a Estados Unidos
de costa a costa en 2017.
La Luna cubrirá al Sol hasta por 4 minutos y 28
segundos, un espectáculo que por lo general se desarrolla en rincones remotos
del planeta, pero que en esta ocasión pasará por grandes ciudades como
Mazatlán, en México, Dallas, Indianápolis y Cleveland. Aproximadamente 44
millones de personas viven a lo largo de la ruta en que el eclipse será total,
y otras 200 millones en una franja adyacente de 320 kilómetros (200 millas) de
ancho, lo que garantiza que será el eclipse del continente más visto en la
historia.
Prácticamente todos los habitantes del continente
podrán ver un eclipse parcial. También se podrá ver por internet. La NASA
ofrecerá horas de transmisión desde varias ciudades ubicadas a lo largo del

EFECTOS PSICOLÓGICOS:
Durante un eclipse solar, el Sol y la Luna se
alinean temporalmente, lo que permite que se produzcan cambios en la energía y

Este eclipse se dará a 18°38´ del signo de Aries. En
este signo, la Luna inclina al inconsciente colectivo a tener reacciones
rápidas, espontáneas y directas. Es característica la impulsividad sin
consideración por las consecuencias de los propios actos, con tendencia a
querer dominar a los demás, en especial si representan interferencias para la
consecución de los objetivos. Es un momento crítico para aflorar sentimientos
inconscientes, en particular los relacionados con la familia, el hogar y la
casa como estructura física. Estos serán los temas fuertes en días venideros.
¿Dónde y
cuándo ocurrió un eclipse total de Sol similar al del próximo 8 de abril de 2024?
El 26 de febrero de 1998 tuvo lugar un eclipse
total de Sol sobre Suramérica, el océano Atlántico y Pacífico. En un eclipse
total la Luna oculta por completo al Sol. El eclipse comenzó sobre el Pacífico.
Posteriormente cruzó Panamá, Colombia y Venezuela, para finalmente concluir con
la puesta de sol sobre el océano Atlántico.
Antes del eclipse total, aproximadamente entre una
hora y hora y media, comenzó la fase de parcialidad del eclipse en los países
de Panamá, Colombia y Venezuela. La sombra circular de la luna que empezó a
ocultar el disco solar se movía de oeste a este en el cielo. El primer borde de
la Luna que ocultó al Sol fue el izquierdo, para los observadores del
hemisferio norte terrestre.
El eclipse fue progresando gradualmente y unos 15
minutos antes de la totalidad, el cielo se volvió oscuro. En el primer y
segundo minuto previo a la totalidad aparecieron las "sombras
volantes", franjas de luz y sombra que se observaron desplazarse sobre las
superficies planas. Maracaibo (Venezuela) fue la ciudad más poblada que estuvo
en el recorrido de la franja de totalidad del Eclipse. Los puntos privilegiados
de observación se ubicaron hacia el Norte de la ciudad a lo largo de la costa
(Sinamaica). Se comentó que los vientos provenientes del Golfo de Venezuela
estabilizaron la atmósfera y permitió observar imágenes claras del eclipse.
La Península de Paraguaná en Venezuela fue la
última tierra continental que cubrió la franja de la línea central el eclipse. Los
lugares óptimos de observación fueron Puerto Escondido y San Lorenzo.3 En el
Oeste del Golfo de Venezuela, la totalidad del eclipse abarcó la ciudad de
Maracaibo y además los pueblos desde Villa del Rosario hasta Maicao. En el
Sudoeste de Paraguaná, el Sur de Panamá, el Norte de Colombia y las Islas
Galápagos también se observó un eclipse total. En el Caribe, las islas de
Bonaire, Aruba, Curazao, Antigua, Montserrat y Guadalupe tuvieron la
oportunidad de observar la totalidad del eclipse.
En la región
no se repetirá un eclipse similar hasta el 23 de septiembre de 2071.

En 1998 hubo varios hechos importantes en el

SOLAR ECLIPSE OF 2024:
In
2024, Mexico will witness the astronomical phenomenon of the year. Minutes after
noon on Monday, April 8, the Moon will come between the Sun and Earth causing a
total solar eclipse, the first of its kind in the country since July 1991.
After Monday, the next total solar eclipse will not occur but until 2026. But
it will occur in the north of the planet, being visible in Greenland, Iceland
and Spain. The next one, in 2027, will pass through Spain and North Africa,
lasting an incredible 6 and a half minutes.
Next
Monday's total solar eclipse will begin along the Mexican Pacific coast and
pass through Texas and 14 other states in the United States, before concluding
its passage across the continent above Canada.
It
will be almost twice as long and will have a much broader audience than the
total solar eclipse that crossed the United States from coast to coast in 2017.
The
Moon will cover the Sun for up to 4 minutes and 28 seconds, a spectacle that
usually takes place in remote corners of the planet, but this time it will pass
through large cities such as Mazatlán, in Mexico, Dallas, Indianapolis and
Cleveland.
About
44 million people live along the path of the total eclipse, and another 200
million in an adjacent 320-kilometer (200-mile) wide swath, ensuring it will be

During

suffer from headaches, feel a little melancholic or more anxious than usual.

Where and when did a total solar
eclipse similar to the one on April 8, 2024 occur?
On
February 26, 1998, a total solar eclipse took place over South America, the
Atlantic and Pacific oceans. In a total eclipse the Moon completely hides the
Sun. The eclipse began over the Pacific. Later it crossed Panama, Colombia and
Venezuela, finally concluding with the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.
Before
the total eclipse, approximately between an hour and an hour and a half, the
partial phase of the eclipse began in the countries of Panama, Colombia and Venezuela.
The circular shadow of the moon that began to obscure the solar disk moved from

Paraguaná Peninsula in Venezuela was the last continental land that covered the
fringe of the central line of the eclipse. The optimal observation places were
Puerto Escondido and San Lorenzo.3 In the West of the Gulf of Venezuela, the
totality of the eclipse covered the city of Maracaibo and also the towns from
Villa del Rosario to Maicao. A total eclipse was also observed in the Southwest
of Paraguaná, the South of Panama, the North of Colombia and the Galapagos
Islands. In the Caribbean, the islands of Bonaire, Aruba, Curacao, Antigua,
Montserrat and Guadeloupe had the opportunity to observe the totality of the
eclipse.
A
similar eclipse will not be repeated in the region until September 23, 2071.
